Wiz Wingrower is staying in his cave
I was hoping to be able to present an interview with Wiz Wingrower as this blog. Unfortunately he has just told me that he is not about to leave his cave as I anticipated. He intends to see the year out there and re-evaluate in the new year. This left me with a dilemma. Do I wait until he returns to this world or do I press for an interview from him in situe in his cave via the internet? Apparently through his connections with our armed forces he does have the means to send and receive sound and pictures.
But there lies another problem that I failed to foresee. During his year of solitude in his cave somewhere in New Guinea Wiz has decided to erase his history. He says he will grant me an interview provided that I respect his wish to have no history. It kind of reminded me of a book I once read by Carlos Castanada, but then much of what Wiz says reminds me of books that I have read. Many of them he recommended to me.
I asked why erase your history? He replied that it is our personal histories that people judge us by, he chooses to be less judged.
I pressed a little further and Wiz explained that because he has a phd and has lectured in psychology, people treated him differently in this world than the people he has met who do not know of his past. He said he has no use for importance any more.
I smiled at this as I remembered when as a professor he was asked to deliver key note speeches to politicians he would arrive by bus with a few tattered notes in an netto plastic shopping bag. I could not help but think he did his best even in those days to not appear important.
I asked what is wrong with importance and he said catch a rabbit and ask it. Then he terminated our call. So sorry folks I am at a bit of a loss right now. Watch this space.
